Job Summary
Production Assistant role is an entry level position that includes providing support to the Production Department by relaying correspondence to and from our factories and accounts, tracking pre-production/production submits and maintaining all purchase order data as well as assisting with special projects as needed.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with our overseas partners on a daily basis to keep production schedule/calendar.
- Monitor all trackers and PSR/WIPs to ensure high level of accuracy.
- Manage, track, and document all incoming and upcoming packages.
- Check and reconfirm all purchase orders by identifying any discrepancies.
- Coordinate and manage production samples & production library.
- Assist in maintaining weekly shipping reports to accounts/customers.
- Organize cost sheet for the Costing Manager
Qualifications/Requirements
- 0-1 year of production work experience
- Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Analytical with high degree of accuracy
- Proactive with strong follow-up skills
- Resourceful problem solver
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, knowledge of G-Suites
Work Location and Schedule
This job will require that you work from our office in New York, NY, on weekdays during normal business hours (9am to 6pm).
